Singapore’s Lian Hup Brothers Pte Ltd has purchased eight Manitou machines, which comprise another three units of MT-X 1840, three units of MC-X 50-4 and two units of MI 35 D. These machines were supplied by Manitou Center Singapore (MCSG), a leading provider of telehandlers and rough-terrain forklifts in the country.

\n\n

Previously, Lian Hup Brothers invested in the MRT-X 2660, MT-X 1840 and M-X 50-4 units. Due to familiarity and excellent support, the company has decided to continue its partnership with MCSG.

\n\n

The MT-X 1840 telehandler can lift loads of up to 4 t to up to 18 m and is perfectly suited to sites where work at height is required. Its generous ground clearance, three steering modes and sharp turning radius make manoeuvrability easy on uneven terrain.

\n\n

The MC-X 50-4 rough-terrain forklift is designed for activities on difficult terrain or with obstacles. It is able to lift loads of up to 5,000 kg with four-wheel drive and a ground clearance of 43 cm, thus offering good manoeuvrability on the jobsite. Users also benefit from a choice of tyres, allowing them to adapt to every ground condition and in turn increasing their work productivity.

Moving forward, Lian Hup Brothers is planning for further investments in 2025, including additional MT-X 1840, M-X 50-4 and MI-X 35 D units. The company is set to deploy its Manitou machines on various construction projects.

Established in 1968, Lian Hup Brothers specialises in general import and export of heavy vehicles, motorcycles, motorcars, spare parts, body parts (e.g. engines, gearboxes, cabins, chassis, pumps, etc) and other related accessories including motor insurance and motor accident claims. In the last decade, the company has also ventured into heavy machineries and fabrication and modification of heavy trucks, such as dump trucks and concrete mixer trucks as well as their related parts.

The first Vision+ MRT 2660 rotating telehandler from Manitou Center Singapore (MCSG) has arrived in Singapore and was officially handed over to Lian Hup Brothers Pte Ltd.

\n\n

Kelvin Tan, senior sales manager of MCSG, together with Shao-Kun Wan, assistant sales manager of MCSG, presented the machine to Alex Chua, CEO and director of Lian Hup Brothers.

\n\n

The Manitou MRT 2660 is designed to be highly versatile, combining the functions of three different machines into one, including a telescopic handler, winch, and aerial work platform.

\n\n

This rotating telehandler is smart, ergonomic and comfortable, making it ideal for use in construction and industrial applications.

\n\n

The MRT 2660 has a maximum lifting height of 25.90 m, a maximum capacity of 6,000 kg, and an outreach of 21.70 m while maintaining precise control over the loads, thanks to its pentagonal boom section and excellent 360° visibility.

\n\n

The 360° rotation feature allows users to perform various tasks without having to move the machine. It can be operated on tyres or stabilisers, which provide a larger support surface for safe working.

\n\n

“We are excited to hand over the key of the first Vision+ MRT 2660 to Lian Hup Brothers Pte Ltd,” said Mike Chen, general manager of MCSG. “Manitou Center Singapore is looking forward to developing the rotating telehandler concept with Lian Hup Brothers for the Singapore market.”

Manitou Center Singapore Pte Ltd, a dealer for Manitou Asia Pte Ltd, has officially inaugurated its newly registered office in Singapore and signed an exclusive dealership with Ruthmann Bluelift.

\n\n

Serving as a one-stop dealer for all customer needs, Manitou Center Singapore offers sales of new or used machines, equipment rentals, after-sales service and spare parts.

\n\n

“This is a very special day for Manitou Center Singapore. It is more than just the inauguration of a new office, it is a commitment for us to provide a one-stop solution to our customers and to introduce efficient and greener machines to our customers in Singapore,” said Mike Chen, general manager of Manitou Center Singapore.

\n\n

“We have been in Singapore for more than 30 years and are committed to further invest in Singapore and expand our operation here,” added Bernd Freudenmann, vice president of Manitou Asia Pacific. “The Manitou Center Singapore is a very strategic element in our expansion strategy in Asia.”

\n\n

During the inauguration event, which was held on 2 February, a total of 10 different ranges of machines were displayed – signifying that Manitou Center Singapore is creating a strong foothold in the market by offering a diverse range of machines to satisfy different customer needs, from telehandlers to spider lifts and even mini excavators.

\n\n

Gianpiero Marti, sales and marketing director of Ruthmann Bluelift, who also attended the event, said, “We are very much looking forward to a fruitful cooperation with Manitou Asia and are happy to have them as our partner in the global Ruthmann Bluelift distributor network.

The Ruthmann Bluelift SA 26 spider lift is targeted at operators requiring to work in compact indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as on slopes and uneven ground. According to Manitou Center Singapore, the machine weighs 3,350 kg and is 500% lighter than a typical same height boom lift.

\n\n

In addition, the SA 26 spider lift features a working height of 26 m, 340° rotation, up to 28% gradeability and up to 250 kg basket load. The machine is manufactured with both electrical and diesel usage, and has an adjustable track width and auto levelling function.

\n\n

“With a strong workshop and experienced field service team, we are able to travel to any site with our service vans equipped with tools and common spare parts needed to perform rapid service directly on-site,” said Manitou Center Singapore.

\n\n

The company added that it can also tailor service agreements to fit various customer concerns, and provide complete process offering from periodic maintenance to spare parts coverage and field servicing.

\n\n

The key products in Manitou Center Singapore’s rental fleet now include telehandlers, access platforms, rough terrain and industrial forklifts.
