Faithful+Gould appoints new director for Southeast Asia

Global integrated project and programme management consultancy Faithful+Gould has appointed René Hillig as director for Southeast Asia to advance the company’s business and key account management strategy across the region.

A Singapore resident of 25 years, Mr Hillig has led multiple large-scale programmes and commissions in Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region for Faithful+Gould’s international clients. His previous experience includes major projects across the property and infrastructure sectors including the MRT North East Line in Singapore, London Underground in the UK, onshore projects for Westport in Port Klang, Malaysia, the Petronas/KLCC vehicular tunnel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as the programme management of several masterplans such as the 390-ha Al Ain Oasis Masterplan in the UAE.

Departing director for Southeast Asia, Rick Hancock, will be leaving the Faithful+Gould business and relocating to the Middle East in the first quarter of 2018.

In Mr Hillig’s new role, the Southeast Asia business units of Project Management, Industry, Strategic Asset Management and Commercial Management will report to him, and he will continue to act as the Corporate Real Estate Sector leader for Asia Pacific.
