Singapore – Epicor, a global industry-specific enterprise software leader, has been selected by MGB Sany (M) IBS Sdn Bhd (“MGB Sany”), a subsidiary of MGB Berhad a Malaysia, a fully integrated construction and property development solutions provider to abide with new regulations to support the growth of the digital economy set by the Malaysian Government, by digitising and streamlining the e-invoicing process. Epicor will support MGB Sany to elevate their compliance and efficiency with e-invoicing and live reporting, which comes into effect from 1 June 2024.
Based on their deep industry knowledge and technology expertise, MGB Sany entrusted Stellar Dynamic Sdn Bhd (“Stellar Dynamic”), an authorised Epicor partner, to help them select Epicor Kinetic as the right solution to alleviate and solve their challenges with manual traceability, slow reporting, and not having the capability to analyse data.
MGB Sany’s Director Datuk Richard Lim Lit Chek, said: “Having the support and know-how from Stellar Dynamic I am confident that we have chosen the right provider to take us on our Cloud digital journey. One of the most important factors was selecting a solution that could adhere to the new Government initiative on e-invoicing and in turn become a smarter manufacturing business. By deploying a Cloud solution, our teams will now be able to have increased visibility and traceability, leading to better decision-making and analysis of data to help speed up the delivery of products and automate basic, but still important tasks.”
Vincent Tang, Vice President, Asia, Epicor added: “We are delighted that MGB Sany has chosen Epicor Kinetic to fulfil their business ambitions. Epicor has always been committed to transforming businesses and empowering them to make faster and more informed decisions, by utilising insightful data to achieve better results. With the introduction of a new Government mandate coming into effect later this year in Malaysia, our teams are on hand to continue to be trusted advisors to ensure that the right Country Specific Functionality (CSF) is applied and companies like MGB Sany will be safe in the knowledge that through e-invoicing the likelihood of errors is greatly diminished and in turn, this frees up valuable resources to focus on other aspects of business.”
