Singapore – The Adlis Weiyin Smart Benches are not your ordinary benches that can be found in parks and playgrounds. As their name implies, the benches have a number of “smart” features aimed at creating a sustainable city.

The Smart Benches use solar panels to optimise energy consumption to offer stand-alone Internet and mobile charging for up to five days in summer, making them highly suitable to install in tropical countries.

The mobility of these benches allows it to be easily mounted anywhere, without the need for additional infrastructure, machinery, or special cables. This makes for a hassle-free and intuitive installation process. Bluetooth speakers allow users to play their favourite songs from the bench.

Key features of the Smart Benches include:

  • Wireless mobile charging x 2
  • Cable mobile charging x 2
  • Bluetooth speakers
  • Motion Sensor Ambient light
  • Solar Panels

The Adlis Weiyin Smart Benches are currently installed at Great World in Singapore and are available from Playpoint (Singapore) Pte Ltd. The company is geared towards environmentally-friendly products and sustainable business practices.

Mr Jason Sim, Managing Director of Playpoint (Singapore) commented: “The Adlis Weiyin Smart Benches are a new addition for Playpoint, fostering in our efforts to build inclusive and sustainable cities and communities.”
