BTMJR Investment to build residential project in Vietnam

BTMJR Investment Limited Company, a joint venture between Becamex Tokyu Co Ltd (a subsidiary of Tokyu Corporation) and Mitsubishi Jisho Residence Co Ltd (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Estate), is developing a new residential project in Binh Duong province, north of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

With an expected gross floor area of 84,297 sq m, the upcoming Sora gardens II condominium will have 24 floors, 560 units and other commercial facilities. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2019 and complete in 2021. The development features an X-shaped exterior design and all units are planned to come with smart home systems and equipment.

The Sora gardens I development, offering 406 units, was completed in March 2015. It is said to be the first luxury apartment in Binh Duong province.

Becamex Tokyu is also working on another project in the province, Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City, with a total area of 110 ha - of which 71 ha is the development area.

Sora gardens II is Mitsubishi Jisho Residence’s first project in Vietnam. Apart from establishing a joint venture with a local developer in Thailand, the company also has residential projects in Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.
